Rossignol Bandit B-Squad Carbon (2008)
Rossi has substantially retooled its Bandit liners, using tapered, injection-molded padding instead of harsher-fitting die-cut material. The B-Squads use a low-volume, 98-mm wide shell, but many testers said it felt big. The main difference between the Carbon and the Composite is a slight variation in forward stiffness. The Carbon fiber in this model gave a decided snap to the finish of each turn. “Work that spine, and you can really load up the ski,” said Elling.
