Rossignol Bandit B2 (2007)

Rossignol Bandit B2 (2007)

Pro There might be burlier skis in this category, but none that outperform the venerable B2 for smoothness, stability and fluidity. The B2, a member of the Bandit family and one of the top-selling skis in North America, shares the same construction (metal-reinforced foam core) as the B-Squad (see Free XXL), but its narrower shape makes it an especially good choice for Eastern freeriders looking for great powder performance in a ski that can still rip on the groomed and even (if properly tuned) on ice. It’s always a comfortable ride, supple yet quick, quiet yet lively, nimble yet powerful—above all, easy to ski. "It’s fun and quick, versatile in turn shapes and probably one of the best bump skis in this category," said Schoff. Con Likes speed and GS arcs; unenthusiastic in relaxed short turns.
