Rossignol Electra Pro SI 110 (2013)
When a few of our ski-bum boot testers write that they'd buy this boot, it's high praise indeed (because they try not to buy any of their ski gear). The tall, upright stance was a hit, though some wanted a bit more heel lift. And while the 97-mm fit has a well-contoured ankle and snug wrapping at the heel and instep, it offers where-you-need-it room at the forefoot and toes. Testers particularly liked the shin fit along the boot's tongue and said the flex is firm but even. "Amazing amount of room without sacrificing skiing movements." Notes: Polyether shell construction with rubberized boot board and grippy toe and heel plates maximize all-mountain performance. Fuzzy women's specific liner is comfy but firm in its ankle and heel pocket--uper cuff adjustment and a power strap flesh out a minimal-frills unit.
