Rossignol Experience 83 (2013)

Rossignol Experience 83 (2013)
Gold Medal Gear
Tester's Review

As one tester scrawled: "Pretty hard to tell the difference from Experiences (98 and 88) of previous days. Narrower, quicker, but still plenty of ski; just as damp, fluid, and powerful." So if you can be happy with an 83-mm waist (or already have a fatty in the quiver), the Experience 83 makes more expensive skis look bad. Other Value skis were more buoyant in powder, but none skied with greater ease (No. 1 in Forgiveness) or energy (No. 1 in Rebound Energy). For advanced-intermediate and expert Easterners alike, it's a dynamic, fun-loving everyday multitool. Notes: Rossignol's highly acclaimed Experience line returns this season with a few cosmetic changes. The Experience 83 is built with a tough wood/basalt core for dampness, a touch of rocker for easy initiation, and a tight turn radius for quick carves. It uses sidewall construction underfoot for power transmission and cap construction at the tip and tail for a lighter weight and more forgiving feel.

PRICE (MSRP): $600.00
