Rossignol S7 Women (2012)
Tester's Review
When the unisex S7 came out in 2009, its funny shape raised eyebrows. Now it maybe the most copied ski out there. Aggressive rocker on both ends surfs with a loose, greasy style (no. 1 in Flotation) and sucks up bumps and traverse rollers too. The tapered tip puts you in the driver's seat; a narrow tail brakes without throwing you through the windshield (no. 1 in Forgiveness). There are more versatile options, but the S7W is the go-to for pure fluff. "The shape turns on a dime," said Humes.
