Rossignol Scratch (2014)

Rossignol Scratch (2014)

Rossi says the 84-mm-wide Scratch is the most decorated ski in the history of the Winter X Games. Full camber gives the park-specific twintip the rebound energy needed for generating speed and maximum boost. It belongs to Rossignol's S Series Jib collection of park and slopestyle skis, which range in width from 97 mm down to 80 mm. Two models, Slat and Storm, are built for all-mountain versatility and powder jibbing. Two others, the long-successful Scratch and value-priced Sprayer, are more park and pipe oriented. Rossi's Extended Sidecut, where the widest parts of the ski are located beyond the contact point, hooks up and carves with ease. Minicap Sandwich construction - in the Slat, Scratch and Storm - features angled (30-degree) sidewalls for reduced weight and added durability. All models have wood cores with fiberglass reinforcement. All are sold flat.
