Salomon Falcon 10 (2008)
The 10 is nearly identical to the Falcon Race. The flex is a bit softer, and it doesn’t come with the Race Kit goodies (heel lifts, rear spoilers, etc.). But the leather liner and sculpted shell work together to firmly grip the foot. Given its energy, control and stability, the 10’s comfort is a nice surprise. It has broad fit versatility—snug enough for low-volume feet but expandable with a few judicious stretches for those with wider feet. “It nails the AME category,” said Couperthwait.
