Salomon Geisha 100 (2013)

Salomon Geisha 100 (2013)
Gold Medal Gear
Tester's Review

The Geisha is our pick for advanced intermediates looking to improve - No. 1 in Forgiveness, Quickness, and Balance of Skills. It's friendly and playful, with a feathery touch that's as comfortable drifting as it is carving. It gently guides you into a smooth arc, with plenty of energy in reserve when you're ready for it. Testers thought it best at only moderate speeds, but that could be due to a too-short test length (164 cm). Bamboo makes it lively, basalt damps vibration. A structural cap layup - Salomon drapes a layer of fiberglass over its core - makes it light and strong.
