Salomon Idol 8 (2008)
Rather than patronize women with foamy disconnect and cavernous interiors, as many cruiser boots do, the Idol 8 has a snug fit that crisply connects foot to ski. Lateral and fore-aft steering linkages are tuned to be consistent but forgiving. Jam it over too aggressively and it will falter, but like all Salomon women’s boots, it’s extra warm and nicely sculpted to suit a woman’s foot. “Perfect for skiers who head out a few times during the season for vigorous skiing,” said Reigle.
Best For
Women looking for comfort with reasonable performance.
Not For
Short women. Cuff is high.
PRICE (MSRP): $635.00
