Salomon Suspect (2012)
The full-twintip Suspect is similar in shape to the Pro Pipe-with just a touch more tail, making it a good choice for frequent switch riders. The defining difference is in construction: the Suspect is a laminate, vertical sidewall design, built to take a beating on rails and boxes (and rocks and trees). Extra wide, reinforced edges are built to be extra durable. What's more, they're further reinforced: strong polyethylene fibers are used to secure the two edges to each other across the width of the ski, to make it harder to rip one out. Pulse Pad technology-a strip of rubber over the edge-quiets vibrations and absorbs shocks.
