Salomon Twenty-Twelve (2012)
The returning, park-inspired Twenty Twelve is a big-mountain twintip jib ski designed for those who make the whole mountain their terrain park. A 91 waist and Salomon's twin rocker-tip and tail rocker-gives it flotation in soft snow, even if your riding switch. But it's built to behave on hardpack too. It's a vertical-sidewall, full-wood-core sandwich construction (a bit of a departure for monococque loving Salomon designers), so it's burly and plenty grippy. Extra wide, reinforced edges are built to be extra durable. Pulse Pad technology-a strip of rubber over the edge-quiets vibrations.
