Salomon X-Wing 10 (2008)
Most cruiser skis are long-turn specialists, but here’s an exception. The X-Wing topped its category in both Short Turns and Rebound. Usually those traits add up to a hair-trigger experience that can be a bit nerve-wracking at high speeds, but the 10 has a breadth of skills. Testers noted its forgiving nature, but had no problem ramping it up or trusting its edges. "Very forgiving, even in tight turns on hardpack," said Moffatt. "It’s light and quick, but plenty solid."
Best For
Getting more out of little hills with short-radius turns.
