Scott Mission (2008)
In its second year of U.S. distribution, Scott proves last year’s results weren’t a fluke. Scott skis have been around Europe for almost a decade, and any bugs appear to have been worked out. The Mission’s broad floaty shovel and quick-release tail give it a uniquely pleasing feel in soft snow. It’s just easy and fun to ski—ready to charge, quick in tight spots, but content to relax, too. And the price is right. "For a big-feeling ski it was quite quick and agile," said Woods.
Best For
Value-seekers expecting plentiful snow.
Not For
Eastern skiers.
