Scott Pure (2013)

Scott Pure (2013)
Tester's Review

If your idea of a good time is tight tree lines or Colorado-style billygoating through rock pepper, the Pure is not your sk On the other hand, if you thrive on runs with elbow room and legally questionable speeds, check out the Pure. "It's a wide race ski," said one tester. Take this monster to the bowls and don't even try making a short turn. Notes: With it's drastically concave-shaped Venturi tail section, the Pure is a visually striking construction. It's a new all-mountain design ranging in width from 102 to 110 mm over three sizes (including a huge 194 cm). The tip is early-rise over a full 450 mm section. The Venturi tail shape allows the tail to sink in deep snow for quick direction changes and speed control. The Pure is a wood-core, metal-free laminate construction._
