Scott Sheela (2009)
"Quiet" and "damp" are fine words to describe some skis. With the new Sheela, we think "tequila" and "dance floor" are more apt. Light, quick and more fun than should be legal, this ski likes to party. Its shorter tip instigates zippy, playful turns. A dual-radius sidecut initiates turns easily but never dives too abruptly back across the fall line. And there's just enough heft to inspire confidence in crud. "They've got more energy than you do," said Sheinberg.
