Sestriere, Italy, Mar. 10-Kristina Koznick scored the third big World Cup victory for the US Ski team in a week, with a World Cup slalom win today. Last weekend, teammate Daron Rahlves raced to two consecutive downhill wins on the men's World Cup tour.

Koznick led two other teammates into the top 16 as Caroline Lalive hung-up a career-best at thirteenth and Sarah Schleper rebounding after a rock gouged her first-run skis finished 16th.

Other US skiers are also shining as the World Cup tour heads to finals next week in Bormio, Italy. Last weekend, four US women placed in the top 25 of a World Cup downhill race in Switzerland. Alison Powers took twelfth; Kirsten Clark, fourteenth, Caroline Lalive, twenty-fourth, and Jonna Mendes placed twenty-fifth. On Wednesday, Dane Spencer finished 25 in a giant slalom race.

With this win, Koznick moves up to twenty-second place in overall World Cup standings, with 403 points. Rahlves holds an impressive nineteenth place in overall World Cup standings, with 387 points.
