Big Basin? Moonlight Sky?

After several years of bickering over just about everything, Big Sky and Moonlight Basin, Mont., have kissed and made up, offering joint lift tickets this season. (A twofer adult day ticket will cost $78) With the two resorts sharing 11,166-foot Lone Peak, this alpine nuptial spawns 5,300 acres of combined assets, making it one of the largest connected trail systems in North America. With Big Sky and Moonlight famous for roomy slopes, skiers can now have two mountains virtually to themselves all winter for $1,199-the price of a combined season pass.
