Tecnica Crush (2013)

Tecnica Crush (2013)
Tester's Review

Three things set the Crush above others in the category for many testers: its high-riding cuff, its high instep fit, and its domination on snow. It has a firm feel at boot top and more guts than its 100 flex rating might indicate. It's not for posers or wimps (or gals with massive calves, though it has a removable rear spoiler). Testers liked that it was both quick and accurate but forgiving, and they gave points to the soft boot board, which damps hard hits and harsh snow. "Dares you to flex it hard. Great fit for chargers." Notes: The i-Rebound cuff anchor provides beefy fore-aft support and dual cuff adjustment, removable Velcro spoilers and removable anchor flex adjustment provides for athlete customization. 45 mm power strap snugs fit at boot top and the Ultra Fit liner is firm but padded. Quick Instep co-molded plastic at boot throat eases entry and exit.
