Tecnica Vento 6/Attiva V6 (2006)

Tecnica Vento 6/Attiva V6 (2006)

Like the Vento 10 (see AMC), the Vento 6 belongs to a new collection that replaces the Rival as Tecnica's line of higher-volume, lower-priced boots that don't sacrifice performance. The 6 is considerably softer than the 10, and trades off some minor niceties (dual cuff-alignment, buckle quality, liner technology) to control price. But the fundamental performance characteristics remain, and testers found it supportive and easy to steer. Vento boots are based on Tecnica's Diablo series, but softened and widened to be less demanding. The Attiva version features women-specific modifications: optional heel lift, faux-fur lining, roomier cuff and a liner shaped to better fit women's feet.
