Pro Easy to get into, easy to take off and nicely comfortable in motion, the Flame earned unanimous approval, putting up its best scores in key criteria. The Flame retains virtually all of the Magma's well-conceived features but in a softer-flexing package. Testers felt it was fun in different environments and would stimulate improvement. It rolls smoothly on edge, and the flex is forgiving but firm. Rossi called it "a great transition boot with which to get serious about skiing, but equally content to reign as Queen of the Blues." The Ultrafit liner in the women's Flame is highly tailored for female feet with a clever collar volume adaptation. An optional heel cradle snaps onto the boot board to reduce width and lift the heel. Con Runs big and long; downsizing is a must for all but the wide-footed. Top Scores Entry/Exit 4.0, Forward Flex 3.8, Skiing Comfort 3.7
