Volkl Kiku (2013)
Tester's Review
On the spectrum of smeary and carvy, this ski lands on trench. It craves the fall line, aggressively chomping up crud, inhaling powder, and slicing groomed. The Kiku sticks to the snow and shares the No. 1 spot (with La Nia) in Hard-Snow Grip. Testers felt it not only inspired confidence but goaded them to go steeper, deeper, faster. Its lightweight wood core is wrapped in carbon in a classic sandwich construction. Incidentally, it's not for the meek.
PRICE (MSRP): $825.00
