Park City, UT Feb. 8 (AP)--Canadian Emily Brydon, looking more like Swedish master Ingemar Stenmark than someone hoping to make her way onto the World Cup, led a podium sweep by Canadian skiers Tuesday in the final slalom of the $100,000 Super Series, winning by more than three seconds.

Brydon held a two-second lead after the first run on the 2002 Olympic slalom hill at Deer Valley Resort and went on to win in 1 minute, 28.14 seconds. Second place went to Katerina Tichy in 1:31.17 with Genevieve Simard in third at 1:31.39

Julia Mancuso of Tahoe City, Calif., took over the Super Series overall points lead by finishing fourth. In fifth was Tatum Skoglund of Bellevue, Wash.

``It worked really good for me,'' Brydon said. ``I had two solid runs. It's good to get some mileage on this Olympic course.

``It's an excellent course, very challenging all the way down. It'll be great for the Olympics.''

Stenmark is the World Cup career leader in victories, winning 46 giant slalom and 40 slaloms before retiring in 1989. In a sport ruled by hundredths, he routinely won races by seconds.

With two races left in the Super Series, Mancuso was 294 points to 260 for Canadian Anne Marie LeFrancois. In third place is Alison Powers of Winter Park, Colo., with 255.

The Super Series is the highest level of non-World Cup racing in the United States. The series continues Wednesday and Thursday with giant slaloms on the 2002 Olympic GS run at neighboring Park City Mountain Resort.
