Oberhofen, Switzerland, Feb. 1 (AP)--A men's giant slalom race canceled by rain and strong winds Sunday at Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, was rescheduled today for Kvitfjell, Norway.
A downhill and another Super-G had already been planned for Kvitfjell on March 4 and 5, but the competition will now start on March 3. The order of the three races is not final.
FIS, skiing's governing body, said the three women's races originally scheduled for Snowbasin, Utah, next week and previously canceled would take place at Santa Caterina, Italy. The super-G will be held Feb. 10, with the downhill the following day and the slalom for the combined competition Feb. 12.
FIS said it had not found a new location for the women's giant slalom and slalom races canceled last weekend at Zwiesel Bodenmais, Germany.
