Boulder, CO, January 15, 2002--FREEZE magazine, the voice of the freeskiing revolution, is bringing the "Yellow Snow Tour" to Colorado, New Mexico and Utah in January. The tour features a screening of TGR's latest release, "Subject to Change," followed by a concert with recording artists B Side Players and Slightly Stoopid. Tons of swag will be given away at each stop and athletes will appear at selected shows.
"Subject to Change," produced by Teton Gravity Research, is ground zero for the most sick and twisted antics on skis this year. Filmed on location in Summit County, Grizzly Gulch, Wyoming, Tahoe and Mt. Hood, the 16mm jib film features big mountain stunts, insane heli-gap footage and soundtrack pieces from featured athletes.
Athletes include Tanner Hall, CR Johnson, JF Cusson, Jaime Burke, Phil Porier and more.
Earlier trips have been in support of fellow label bands Sublime and Long Beach Dub All-Stars. With three albums under their belt, Slightly Stoopid is touring in support of their album, "The Longest Barrel Ride." The band that insiders call "Sublime's Little Brother" is as hot as they get in the dub and reggae scene. B-Side Players, the co-headlining band, hails from southern California. Their music is a blend of Latin, funk, rock, reggae and soul. They are touring in support of their latest album, "Movement."
