The storm system is nailing the Aspen/Snowmass area blanketing all four mountains with snow.

The winter storm predicted to hit the area moved in with a vengeance yesterday dumping 18 inches of new snow on Snowmass and Aspen Mountains.
Over a foot of new snow greets skiers and riders at Snowmass, three weeks ahead of the scheduled opening.
Snowmass and Aspen Mountains will open for the season on Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 25 giving Aspen/Snowmass 257 acres of skiing/riding terrain.
Winter has come early to Aspen/Snowmass and skiers and riders will celebrate with the opening of Snowmass this weekend, Nov. 9-10, and the opening of Aspen Mountain on the following two weekends, Nov. 16-17 and 23-24.
