Where the visiting "it" crowd goes to après.

Larkburger

Larkburger
Larkburger
Fast food with a fine dining background.

Fast food with a fine dining background, Larkburger is an offshoot of Thomas Salamunovich’s Larkspur restaurant in Vail. The menu is small, just a few varieties of burger, fries, and milkshakes, but everything is high quality, and made with all-natural and organic ingredients. Don’t miss the truffle and parmesan fries. They’ve expanded into Denver and other major Colorado cities, but the original location, in Edwards, is right at the base of Arrowhead.

Pazzo's Pizzeria

Pazzo's Pizzeria
Pazzos
Where everybody knows your name.

You might have to fight through a two-deep crowd of locals to put your order in, but Avon’s version of Cheers serves up the best pizza in the Beaver Creek area. The wait can be monumental, up to two hours on a busy winter night, and they don’t take reservations, but the Cabo pizza, with shrimp, jalapenos, and cilantro, is worth it.

Lefty's

This bar and grill is known for their fresh-cut fries, which they slice every day and serve until 10:00 p.m.

The “turkey-veg” sandwich at Lefty’s is as popular as their burgers, which is saying a lot. They serve beer and wine everyday from 11:30 a.m. until midnight, and you can get an order of fresh-cut fries until 10:00 p.m. The casual atmosphere is entertaining for all ages: kids can play video games while dad watches the game after a long day of skiing. In the summer, the deck is where it’s at to get a good meal at a reasonable price.

Bistro 258

Located in one of Ogden's oldest buildings, this bistro is worth the trip to town after skiing at Snowbasin.

American and European influences combine to create a delicious, eclectic menu inside one of the town’s oldest buildings (circa 1888). Ask for a seat in the light-filled garden room and try the chocolate-rubbed ribeye. Finish with the fuzzy peaches—lightly fried peach halves topped with ice cream.
