Bode Miller skied the slalom run of his life Wednesday to come back from15th place and claim the sliver medal in men's combined. It is the first men's combined medal won by a U.S. skier in Olympic history. Kjetil Andre Aamodt hung on to win the gold.
Eberharter finished in 1 minute, 38.80 seconds on the Corviglia course. Maier and Miller were timed at 1:39.57; American Daron Rahlves, who won the Super G at the last world championships two years ago, finished 22nd.
