McConkey Movie Trailer Debuts this Weekend

NBC airs a trailer for a new movie about the late Shane McConkey that's set to hit screens in 2013.

When Shane McConkey died in 2009 after a ski BASE-jumping accident, the skiing community lost an innovator, an icon and a true adventurer who lived each day with purpose. Matchstick Productions, the production house that worked so closely with McConkey on many projects, is making a movie, set to debut next year, chronicling the life of this inspirational athlete. Catch a trailer for the film this Saturday (March 24) on NBC during the Red Bull Cold Rush coverage at 1 p.m. eastern time, 10 a.m. pacific.
