Bretton Woods Raises over $30,000 at Ski-a-Thon

All funds raised by the Ski-A-Thon event are used to provide for equipment purchases for year-round activities, for volunteer training and certification expenses and for adaptive program operating costs.

BRETTON WOODS, NH, March 6, 2009 – Bretton Woods Adaptive held its Second Annual Ski-A-Thon Blast on February 28th at New Hampshire’s Bretton Woods.  The Ski-A-Thon, the sole fundraiser of this organization, was deemed a total success by all involved, raising more than $30,000 to date, with more expected in the next few weeks.  Twenty-four teams of four skiers each turned out to support this year’s event, with many supporters cheering the skiers on throughout the day.  The spirit of the Ski-A-Thon event was evident in the enthusiasm of the participants, with many arr
