Why We Ski: The Wobbly Barn

Why We Ski: The Wobbly Barn

posted: 02/02/2004

Ski country is full of them: rockin' bars packed with skiers. And half the people are on vacation: No wonder they're so happy. The other half are locals lucky enough to live there. The Wobbly in Killington, Vt., sets the standard. It starts out as a great place for a steak dinner, then, around 9 p.m., morphs into a scene out of your college days-but with better music. Sidle your way onto the dance floor, or observe from the safety of the balconies. Buy a round for your new friends and forget all about first chair.
