Mammoth Mountain, CA (News Release) - Thanksgiving, the unofficial kick-off to the winter ski and snowboard season, is just around the corner and Mammoth Mountain is ready to roll. Thanks to an early season storm that dropped up to 4 feet of new snow, Mammoth will open all three of its base facilities and additional terrain just in time for the holiday weekend.

Mammoth Mountain plans to open ten more lifts on Wednesday, November 27th,expanding Mammoth's skiable terrain to over 3,000 acres. Access to theslopes will be available through three base facilities: Main Lodge, Canyon Lodge and Little Eagle Lodge. With a 2-3 foot base and over 3,100 feet of vertical to offer, early season conditions at Mammoth are unmatched by any other resort in California.
