As the fourth of July approaches once again it's time to ask, how will you honor your presidents? We recommend a nice hike or even a ski down one of the U.S Presidential Peaks. We have selected a number of mountains which honor our presidents for you to choose from. If you would still rather spend the 4th kickin' it at your friends house with beer, BBQ, and Fireworks, thats ok! You can still enjoy the Presidential Peaks' beautiful views in our online photo gallery.
The 39th Annual Telluride Bluegrass Festival was all sunshine and a smiles, not to mention incredible tunes as beautiful as the mountain peaks surrounding downtown Telluride. Performers included Alison Krauss, John Fogerty, Bruce Hornsby and the "King of Telluride" Sam Bush.
The resorts may be closed, but ski season isn't over. There's still plenty of spring corn on the Colorado peaks and a few pieces of gear left to test. So yesterday a few of the SKI and Skiing editors went on a mission to eek the last few turns out of this season. And wouldn't you know, our computers were still here when we got back.
