Lodging The St. Bernard, with its slopeside deck and ski murals covering the facade, is the epitome of Taos. Packages include six lift tickets, six morning lessons and all meals ($1,865-$2,265 per week; 505-776-2251). In town, Casa de las Chimeneas has eight rooms, a spa and daily homemade breakfast with a southwestern twist ($165-$325 per night; 877-758-4777).

Dining Try a Taos-style pie-topped with beans and green chiles-at Outback Pizza, in town (505-758-3112).

Getting There From Albuquerque (135 miles), take I-25 North, then bypass Santa Fe on 599 North to U.S. 285 North to New Mexico 68. Follow the windy road up to the Ski Valley.
