NASTAR National Champs Invade Park City

Park City, UT March 17, 2004--Next week Park City Mountain Resort will play host to the 2004 Jeep King of the Mountain NASTAR National Championships from Thursday, March 25 - Sunday, March 28. The event brings together top recreational ski and snowboard racers of all ages and abilities from across the country for three days of competition, first-class hospitality, partying and fun!

This season, over 100,000 competitors raced Jeep King of the Mountain NASTAR at 120 premier resorts across the country to see if they would be one of the lucky few who receive an invitation to compete at the Jeep King of the Mountain NASTAR National Championships. Racers qualify by being ranked in the top three in their age and gender category in their division at any of the 120 resorts. Response has been overwhelming as more than 1,100 competitors will make their way to Park City Mountain Resort next week to compete for National Titles.

In addition to the exciting competition, racers will have the chance to hang with some of skiing's all-time greats including U.S. Ski Team superstar Daron Rahlves fresh off his incredible season, four-time Olympian AJ Kitt, former Olympian Doug Lewis, ESPN Winter X Games gold medalist and four-time Olympian Casey Puckett and rising U.S. Ski Team star, Bryon Friedman.
