The Martini Tree

The Martini Tree

Taos Ski Valley founder Ernie Blake once stashed pitchers of martinis in tree wells on the mountain. Toast this tradition (and celebrate your powder day) at the Martini Tree Bar.

Nothing says après like a gin martini, up, extra dry, with a twist— or a PBR tall boy. Either way, head to the Martini Tree in Taos, New Mexico, for a little rest and rehydration.

Located right at the based of the mountain, the Martini Tree sees loads of après action. Although the bar food is somewhat typical, the live entertainment give the place a unique vibe in the valley. But get there quick, it gets crowded and like all things in Taos, it closes early.
