Après ski specials and a Tree Hugger Pizza make life a little bit better.

Restaurant owner Eduardo Rovetto knows how to work a crowd. His pizzeria on Mountain Road five minutes from Stowe Resort is a perpetual favorite. Piecasso is a second-generation family business that serves New York style pizza, Sicilian pasta, fresh seafood, and a wide selection of drinks. They serve moderately priced kid’s menus, offer family-style dining in the early evening, and offer drink specials and live music into the night. Try the namesake Picasso pizza with a white garlic olive oil base, mozzarella, ricotta, tomatoes, broccoli, fresh garlic, fresh basil and spices. Choose from personal ($13), small ($15), or large ($20.25) sizes. Or, for the true crunchy Vermonter, try the Tree Hugger with fresh spinach, basil, tomatoes; fresh garlic and red onions nestled in mozzarella, with red sauce or white garlic olive oil base. Every Saturday during ski season they have après ski specials, so stumble in for dinner after a powder day and party into the early morning. Ski lovers ages 21 to 81 will enjoy live music or karaoke Tuesdays and Saturdays at the bar, and daily specials including wings and pint night, and ladies night.| 802-253-4411
