posted: 01/01/2000

Bend, Ore. Central Oregon tradition, hunting for Easter eggs on the Bunny Slope of Mt. Bachelor, starts at 9:00 am on Sunday, March 27 followed by the traditional Easter Brunch buffet in the West Village Lodge.

The Bunny Slope is next to the Sunshine Accelerator chairlift and lift tickets or Season Passes are required to ride the chair.†  For kids who donàt ride chairlifts yet, some Easter eggs will be hidden at the bottom of the slope.†  The plastic eggs will be filled with a variety of goodies and candy hidden by the Easter Bunny himself.

For the annual brunch, which runs from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM in the West Village Lodge, reservations are filling fast. Brunch is $15.95 for adults and $8.95 for children 12 and younger.†  Among the selections to be prepared by Chef Michel are Eggs Benedict Provencale, Lemon Salmon Cakes with Lobster Sauce, stuffed French Toast with CrËme Anglaise, orange glazed ham, prime rib, pastries, blintzes and more.†  The full menu can be viewed at www.mtbachelor.com. For reservations please call 541-382-2442, extension 2280.
