Last Chance for Colorado and Buddy Pass

May 12, 2005

VAIL, Colo. - Time is running out for Colorado skiers and snowboarders who want to take advantage of Vail Resorts' five-mountain Colorado Pass or three-mountain Buddy Pass and guarantee the lowest price for the 2005-2006 winter season. There are just four days left to purchase or renew the Colorado Pass and Buddy Pass. Pass sales end Sunday, May 15, 2005.

Vail Resorts is offering the popular five-mountain Colorado Pass for $349 and the three-mountain Buddy Pass for $309 for adults with just a $29 down payment. A child's Colorado Pass is $149. New this spring is the "Teen Colorado Pass" for $199 for young adults ages 13-18. The 2005-2006 Colorado Pass will offer unlimited skiing and snowboarding at Keystone, Breckenridge and Arapahoe Basin, and 10 days at Vail and Beaver Creek. The Colorado Pass will be restricted at Vail and Beaver Creek, Nov. 25-26, 2005, Dec. 27-31, 2005 and Feb. 18-19, 2006.

Several incentives are offered to skiers and snowboarders who purchase a 2005-2006 Colorado or Buddy Pass this spring as opposed to next fall:

Buy now, pay later.
Skiers and snowboarders who purchase their passes this spring have the option of paying in two installments: A $29 down payment by credit card now, and the balance automatically charged to their card in September 2005.

Guaranteed lowest pass price.
Regardless of pass prices next fall, those who make the $29 down payment on a pass this spring will be guaranteed the lowest price.

Four $35 lift tickets for friends or family.
Each skier or snowboarder who purchases a Colorado Pass this spring will receive four $35 lift tickets that can be used anytime throughout the season, with no restrictions at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone or Arapahoe Basin.

Complimentary subscription to Skiing Magazine.
A complimentary one-year subscription to Skiing Magazine will be given to those who purchase a Colorado Pass this spring (one subscription per household).

Current pass holders can renew online at www.coloradopass.com as a more convenient option. New pass holders can purchase Colorado or Buddy Passes through May 15, 2005 at the following locations: Colorado Ski & Golf locations in Arvada, Aurora, Littleton and Colorado Springs; REI locations in downtown Denver and Fort Collins; and Boulder Ski Deals. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or a legal guardian. The Teen Colorado Pass is only guaranteed to be available until May 15 and may not be available again next fall.
