Mammoth Mountain, CA (News Release, April 7, 2003) Mammoth Mountain is gearing up for Easter with freshsnow. Two and a half feet of fresh fell last week, blanketing the mountainand setting the stage for epic spring skiing and riding.

Named one of the Top 10 resorts for spring skiing and snowboarding and Ski America and Canada, Mammoth Mountain is the placeto be this Easter holiday. Known for its long seasons, Mammoth has theunique combination of deep snow pack, sunny skies, and mild temperaturesthat make spring skiing a favorite. With all the new snow, this year will beno exception with great conditions well into May.

Easter week in Mammoth is all about fun. Hit the slopes Sunday, April 20 fora massive mountain-wide Easter Egg Hunt starting at 12:15pm or stop by McCoyStation for non-denominational church service outdoors at 1:30pm. The late season snow will ensure not only incredible spring skiing andriding, but also plenty of it. The entire mountain is scheduled to stay openthrough April 27th, spoiling Easter week visitors with 3500 acres of thebest snow in California. All three base lodges will be open for convenientaccess to the slopes and amenities. Canyon Lodge and Little Eagle Lodge willclose April 28, but Main Lodge will remain in operation with as much terrainopen as conditions permit.
