Near the slopes of Park City, Deer Valley and The Canyons, the Hotel Park City's guests never quibble about location—they hardly have to leave the grounds: Designed in circa-1900 national-park-lodge fashion, the 1-year-old hotel comprises 11 miles of cross-country trails, two championship golf courses and an 8,000-square-foot spa, opening this spring. The resort's 54 suites have kitchens, fireplaces and balconies; beds are piled with down pillows; and marble baths feature jetted tubs.

The winning element, though, is the service: The staff stays tuned in via headsets to satisfy guest's requests-a concession to New World hospitality in a rustic setting. $299 per room, per night; 2001 Park Avenue, Park City; 435-940-5000; hotelparkcity.com
