The Stowe Inn

The Stowe Inn

A bit of history preserved.

The Stowe Inn’s original, small-framed house was built in 1814, and is listed on the National Registrar of Historic Places. Over the next six years the property grew to include a larger brick structure with four chimneys that is still standing today. Once a highly productive creamery, it was not until 1945 that the property became an Inn. Rooms feature fine wood furnishings, antique sleigh beds, and cable television.  Price includes full continental breakfast. Winter weekend nights from $119 (carriage house room), to $229 (luxury suite). | 802-253-4030
