When To Go Mt. Cranmore opens in mid-December and closes the first week in April. The best time to go is from January to mid-March. Despite 100 percent snowmaking, Cranmore's low elevation makes early- and late-season conditions unpredictable, so call ahead.
Getting There From Boston (120 miles) or Providence (165 miles): Take I-95N to Portsmouth, where you take exit 4 to access the Spaulding Turnpike (Rt. 16) to N. Conway; turn right at the light. The area is 1 mile to the east.
