What you get: Seven-days and seven-nights in the Les Suites Tremblant. The package includes lift tickets and free admission to Tremblant's New Year's Eve bash.

What's happening: The New Year's Eve party will take guests by gondola to Tremblant's mountain top restaurant. There, they will enjoy a seven-course meal and a musical voyage through five continents. A live feed to giant video screens will show worldwide celebrations from cities like Paris, London, and New York throughout the restaurant.

Sunday River Ski Resort

Cost: Two people, four-nights, $2,500; Two people, seven-nights, $3,500.

What you get: Four or seven nights lodging at either the Grand Summit Resort Hotel or the Grand Jordan Hotel and lift tickets.

What's happening: Theme parties celebrating each decade dominate the week preceding New Year's Eve. For the big night, there is a formal party at the Grand Summit Resort Hotel and a more casual three floor New Year's Eve bash at Whitecap Base Lodge.
