Day 2-11 Hours 45 Minutes, 5,350 vertical feet
After two-and-a-half hours of sleep, the same crushing snow that I had fallen asleep to was still coming down hard. With visions of the great powder run ahead of me, waking up wasn't as difficult as it should have been.
This was our most time-stringent day and the one in which we would cover the most territory. We expected to drive upwards of eight hours for only four runs. It hardly seemed worth it, but the ski conditions to come would prove well worth the mileage.
