If you know Keystone as Colorado's condo capital, you're not alone. But "condo encompasses a variety of styles—from the '70s shag version to today's kitted-out luxury pads. And yes, Keystone's got them all. But there's also a smattering of other options, from full-service to full breakfast, to consider. Whether you're looking for a place to stash the whole gang or for a quiet weekend for two, here's where to look.

Luxury> The Timbers Keystone's signature ski-in/ski-out option. The Timbers, along with its nearly identical neighbor, Lone Eagle, are the only luxury options. Enter the lobby and gawk at the rich woods and leather in the Great Room and the huge fireplace. The mountain-luxe theme carries to the guest rooms, one-to four-bedroom condos, each with a fully appointed kitchen, gas fireplace, jetted tub and balcony. But those used to the accoutrements of a Four Seasons might find these condos lacking in the fine points—not all beds are dressed in down, and the fixed showerheads are weak. But then, the fact that ou can ski right from the back door is a fine point, as well. $305-$1,200; 800-468-5004; keystone.snow.com

Full-Service> Lodge at Keystone One of Keystone's two full-service hotels (the Inn at Keystone is the other), the Lodge, which fronts Keystone Lake in Lakeside Village, has been treated to a $2 million makeover that's spiffed up its 152 guest rooms, four restaurants, full service spa and conference rooms. Its 138 standard rooms and 14 loft suites, with bedrooms at the top of spiral staircases and pullout couches in downstairs living rooms, accommodate two to four people respectively. $155-$460; 866-455-7625; rockresorts.com

B&B> Ski Tip Lodge A former 1860s stagecoach stop, the Ski Tip is now a 10-room B&B and restaurant—and Keystone's most unique lodging. The charming rooms are on the small side, and devoid of mod-cons such as TVs and minibars, but guests enjoy the quiet ambience, often gathering in the Rathskellar after a ski day to warm up in front of the enormous stone fireplace and sip glasses of wine from the inn's small bar. The restaurant, open to the public for dinner, is lauded for its creative entrees and desserts. Ski hard, then reward yourself with chocolate fondue. It's the Ski Tip way. $119-$209; 800-468-5004; keystone.snow.com

Family> River Run Condos When River Run Village was first conceived, the vision was one of convenience—a place where skiers could get what they needed, from morning coffee to nightcaps. The condos that went up, including Silvermill, are all of a similar style, with proximity to village life their raison d'etre. Each studio to four-bedroom boasts a kitchen and a gas fireplace, plus access to an outdoor heated pool—a must with kids in tow. And at only 300 yards to the River Run Gondola, gear lugging is kept to a very happy minimum. $195-$830; 800-468-5004; keystone.snow.com
