In 2004, Jackson Hole officially opened the Crags--a series of 1,000-foot-long hike-to shots opening onto 175 acres of glades and cliff drops.
(NOTE: Though the Crags are controlled for avalanches, patrol closes the terrain at 2 P.M. and response time is longer here than anywhere inside the ski area.)
