KEYSTONE, Colo. - Nov. 19, 2005 - Skiers and riders took to the slopesall day and all night for the 36-hour ski/ride marathon. The resortkicked off its second annual 36 Hours of Keystone at 9 a.m. Saturdayand plans to keep the lifts open until 9 p.m. tonight.

Keystone opened for the 2005/2006 season Nov. 11. Since then, MotherNature has delivered more than 36 inches of snow this month and 6 newinches in the past two days (3 new inches reported this morning). Theresort plans to open trails on two more mountains (North Peak and theOutback) plus the Nordic Center today thanks to the new snow and coldertemperatures for snowmaking. With more than 750 acres of beginner,intermediate and expert terrain on all three mountains, Keystone'soffering the best early-season conditions in recent memory.
The festivities kicked off Saturday morning with a punk rock pancakebreakfast at sunrise and will continue with live bands, DJs andfinishing with a 36-hour party and fireworks tonight in River Run.
