First Snow at Copper Falls Overnight

First Snow at Copper Falls Overnight

The 2009 season is officially beginning with Dumps of the Weeks soon to come.
posted: 09/12/2008

Copper received the first snow of the season overnight, dusting the hills with several inches of snow, encouraging the aspens to turn yellow.  Just around the corner, Copper plans to start making snow around September 27.

Please join the Village at Copper for the first "Goodbye summer, Hello winter" event this weekend, Sept. 12-14.  Enjoy a fall festival atmosphere at the Back to School/Back to Snow event with a village-wide sidewalk sale, free live music by Rojos Calientes, P-NUCKLE, and Trevor Hall Duo, a ski swap hosted by Team Summit, movie trailers and a chance to win a Copper season pass.

Season Passes for the 08/09 winter season are on sale now, with multiple pass products, including the Rocky Mountain Super Pass Plus. New this season, Copper is offering a Woodward at Copper season pass upgrade.  For more info, visit http://www.passwagon.com target=_blank>passwagon.com

Copper opens for the 08-09 season on November 14, 2008 with Lift Off, the resort’s 4th annual opening weekend festival, with a free Friday night movie tour throughout the village where guests can check out the latest ski and snowboard films for 08-09 and much more during opening weekend.
