The 2009-2010 ski season is officially on. With temperatures dipping in the Rockies, Colorado’s Loveland ski area turned on its snowguns yesterday—apparently the first resort in the country to do so—and started putting down snow. The omens are good: Loveland fired up its guns a full three days earlier than last season. We couldn’t be happier.
