Pioneer Saloon

Pioneer Saloon

Get a taste of the old west with your steak.

The Pioneer Saloon is the place to go in Sun Valley if you're looking for a good steak. Since the mid-1960s the saloon has been known for its incredible prime rib. The wild west decor dates back to the late 1800's, and it's a favorite spot for people looking to get a little Western American history on their ski trip. Family friendly, they serve dinner starting at 5:30 p.m. every night, but you can stop by the bar after heading down from the slopes to grab a drink, too. You'll be amazed at the food this old-fashioned place will deliver.
